The Bayfront Promenade development entails the new construction of a mixed-income, mixed-use development located on a vacant site on Route 440 in Jersey City A developer who is almost single-handedly transforming several blocks near the Journal Square PATH station has been greenlit to bring the next tower of redevelopment that includes more additions to a pedestrian plaza. The project will include 210 residential units, 74 of which will be affordable, and an additional 10,600 square feet of commercial and retail space.
With 8,000 units, Jersey City project will be the TriState’s largest housing. The structure is planned to yield 669 residential units as well as 44,551 square feet of office space and 3,823 square feet of retail space.
